Welcome to the sale of one of the finest C124 Coupes i have seen for many years from the golden age of the Brunno Sacco period.  I have spent my life around this model since my working days back in the early 80's when this was the choice of the E class of the day.  The quality of that car in its day was far superior of the models offered today. Those who will know when you step inside one of these Brunno Sacco models not only the bank vault door closer but the feel of quality that is from floor carpet to Roof lining.

Here today at Classic Benz i am proud to offer for sale a time warp C124 230 CE pillarless Coupe from 1992 showing just 32,311 miles   52,000 KM/H. It is as pure as they come and can only be described as one of the best i have had the pleasure of being involved with.  

It started life in Germany with two very elderly Gentlemen in there 90's who only you used the car in the right conditions.  The first owner was born on 30.03 1923 and always had it serviced a week before his birthday. Always hidden away from the elements and cherished with joy.  In 2020 it was imported to the UK as part of a 24-car collection in Kent the same place as the 190E we have for sale. It was a museum piece and stood alongside some of the finest models of this period.

It was then purchased for a very good customer of mine who also owns a 220 E class Cabriolet and wanted this for his collection because of how unique this car is. You will be blown away of the how beautiful this car is in condition inside outside and underneath.

Here at Classic Benz, it has undergone a full recommissioning program to be sure that all fluids, filters have been replaced and thoroughly road tested with a new 12 month MOT.

The CE is a basic car with manual windows all-round with cloth seats with no air Conditioning, we all may want these in the modern climate but there is something about the purity and Germanic engineering that we like. All the money went into making a Motor car not a driving ipad of today. This car to drive is an experience of the finest 124 build quality like no other. The door hinges, boot lock, bonnet slam panel are untouched and still have the fresh stickers to match.

The tool roll in the boot is still in the original plastic wrap bag NEVER opened from the day it was laid in there 32 years ago. The carpet is as fresh as the day it was made and never think anything has ever been placed in there.

The wheels are as new condition and new Michelin tyres fitted to match. It drives without fault without a squeak, rattle or hesitation of performance. In my opinion this is one of the best surviving examples that needs to be now enjoyed on the continent or showing off at local or national concours shows, but be prepared for the Silver ware.
