Here at Bruce Greetham Classic Benz we are delighted to have been asked to help with the sale of this fabulous 1998 SL320 on behalf of its enthusiast owner. It’s finished in Emerald Black Metallic (189) with a classic R129 interior in beautiful Saffron leather, a stunning and rarely seen combination, and is powered by the turbine-smooth M112 E32 3.2-litre V6, generating 221bhp and mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Supplied new by Lancaster of Ipswich in 1998 to its first owner who had obviously not been shy when ticking the options box.

It lived a local life before heading to Wales in 2018 where it has been lightly used on dry days.  Well cared for by its three previous owners, all of whom were patently diligent judging by the comprehensive history file, and with just over 40,000 miles on the odometer, the Service Books display a remarkable 16 stamps.

The cars condition is simply exceptional for a 26-year-old model. The gleaming green/black coach work is virtually unmarked as is the soft Saffron leather, the alloys still show the diamond leading edge and the original soft top appears to have led a very sheltered life.

It was serviced in May this year (2024) combined with a fresh MOT and on road test all controls worked without fault and the car behaved impeccably. It’s accompanied by the original dealer book pack, the history file and both sets of keys.
